June 25th, 2008 - Village Coffee Roastery - Photos
The Village Coffee Roastery is an independent coffee house in Scottsdale. We started going there in 2004 and found that they acquire and roast their own beans in-house and produce marvelous coffees, and we have been buying our beans there ever since. Recently the owner, Craig Sellman retired and sold the business to Lisa Stroud. Lisa has made a number of subtle changes to the place, paint, artwork, lighting that really make it much more inviting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I have become somewhat of an evangelist at my company for the place, because the coffee is just so good. Most importantly (to me), recently I asked Lisa if I could display some of my photos and she agreed. My advice to you is to go there immediately, have an espresso, and check out the artwork...
Artwork adorns the walls of the Coffee Roastery. The nearest group are my photographs.
Closeup of my photos. The light in the place is very good for viewing, but not so good for taking photos of the artwork, and using a flash doesn't really help.
Detail shot of the coffee roasting machine...
