June 23rd, 2008 - Welcome to my site (A work in progress. Still.)

Unfortunately, I'm generally so busy that I never seem to have time to update my site. 

A couple of exciting things happened recently.  Firstly, some of my photography will be on display at the Village Coffee Roastery in Scottsdale. (corner of Hayden and Via De Ventura).  I've been going there for years because they have the best coffee I've ever had.  Secondly, I've just completed phase two of the Extreme Arizona website, which is a complete re-implementation of the site with a lot of additional features.

I had previously decided to set up a separate site to promote my Web design business, but maintaining one site is hard enough, so that plan is on hold indefinitely

Not much progress has been made on my site since last year; A lot of the links go to actual places now. I have spent a lot of time ensuring that the code (XHTML and CSS) validate according to W3C standards. Every page does, with the exception of the weather chart page, which embeds Flash using the < embed > tag, which, apparently has never been part of the W3C specification.

Also please note that I have been focusing on standards compliant browsers (Safari, Firefox, Opera and IE 7, which really isn't but is a lot better than IE 6) Once the design gels I will create a special template for IE 6, so if you're using IE 6 things might look weird, though I have done a few things to curtail the majority of the weirdness.  I've not had time to impoement this either.
